Change can be overwhelming. Often we do not know how or where to begin. 


As we come together for therapy, your participation can result in a number of benefits to you, including improving interpersonal relationships and resolution of the specific concerns that led you to seek therapy.

Psychotherapy requires your very active involvement, honesty, and openness in order to change your thoughts, feelings, and/or behavior. Remembering or talking about unpleasant events, feelings, or thoughts can result in experiencing discomfort or strong feelings. Together, we will begin this process of change in an inviting  way with a pace that fits with you. 

Change will sometimes be easy and swift, but more often it will be slow and potentially frustrating as the process of change begins. Together, we can work to achieve your goals of change through therapy.
